We use a Public Health Approach to tackle the root cause of violence

The Kickback Project is violence reduction model which uses a Public Health approach. This means looking at violence not as isolated incidents or solely a police enforcement problem.

Instead, this approach looks at violence as a preventable consequence of a range of factors, such as adverse early-life experiences, or harmful social or community experiences and influences. It treats violence as a disease that can be treated and focuses on prevention as well as reactive measures.
